Most of the talents produced from professional Institutions. Most of the talents produced from professional Institutions is less serious for all-round development of Odisha and India. The chronicle of academic excellence reveals missing pages of such graduates. As result, the quality and standard of living in our rural Indi have fallen behind the planned targets. The achievement was concentrated and centred round few cities only. REC has taken challenge to integrate IT and core engineering long with management and motivate all the stake holders to rebuild the larger community of India to propagate “MAKE IN INDIA” for better tomorrow. We try to make it the quality engineering college in Odisha through shaping the future of students who could be our achievement and try to be top engineering colleges in Odisha .
Dr. Bhaskar Patnaik is a distinguished academic leader and accomplished administrator with over 28 years of experience in engineering education, institutional governance, and strategic development. With a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and specialization in AI-driven smart grid technologies, he brings a strong blend of academic excellence and visionary leadership to institutional growth. He has held key leadership positions including Professor & Head, Vice Principal, and Head of Departments across reputed engineering institutions, where he has played a pivotal role in achieving NAAC accreditation, strengthening NBA processes, and implementing outcome-based education frameworks. His administrative acumen is reflected in successful accreditation outcomes, faculty development, infrastructure expansion, ERP implementation, and fostering research and innovation ecosystems. Dr. Patnaik has an impressive research portfolio with publications in high-impact international journals and contributions to scholarly books in emerging domains like smart grids and cyber-physical systems. A recipient of AICTE-funded projects, he has actively promoted industry-relevant learning, interdisciplinary research, and student-centric initiatives. As a leader, he is committed to academic excellence, quality assurance, and holistic institutional development, with a focus on nurturing talent, building collaborative networks, and aligning education with global technological advancements.
